Juli has almost 15 years of experience developing international sponsorship strategies for top entertainment and sports properties. He started his journey with Cirque du Soleil in 2005 in Amsterdam, from where he switched into sports industry in 2007. After several years in Switzerland with FIBA, Juli came back to Barcelona in 2013 to lead international sponsorship operations for FC Barcelona. In 2017 he joined AS Monaco FC as Commercial and Marketing Director with the main objective to boost club’s development both locally and worldwide.

AS Monaco is a football club located in the second smallest country in the world, facing tough competition from its neighbors both in France and in Italy. It is also a club with particular history and cultural heritage not traditional for nowadays football. In this conference Juli will discuss how to combine traditional football assets with non-football values to create a unique brand, become the second most followed French football club abroad, enter in TOP 20 most digitally developed European clubs worldwide, and add value to its partners on both global and regional levels.

Since 2000 till 2014 Dirk was the part of the World's top football marketing agency Lagardère Sports & Entertainment and held positions of the Managing Director and Member of the Board in Israel and Vice President International Football in Switzerland. For the next 5 years he founded DAVNIS Sports in Israel where he acted as Managing Director.

Dirk's cumulative sales track record (Media Rights & Sponsoring) is above USD 100 million. He brokered first-ever sponsorship of a Chinese company in German football when electronics giant Hisense signed with one of the most legendary local clubs, FC Schalke 04. Schluenz also initiated deal between DFL (German Bundesliga) and Israeli Start Up “Track160” to become first company in the “DFL for Equity” program.

FC St. Pauli is probably the most well-known club in the world that has never won any relevant title. Despite currently playing in the 2nd Bundesliga, FC St. Pauli is ranked under the Top5 in Germany as one of the most sympathetic clubs with estimated 5 million sympathizers and has fan clubs all over the world. The reason for this is the unique attitude of the club and its fans against fascism and any form of discrimination and the continued struggle with many projects for a better world and - last not least - the iconic logo and merchandise products of the club displaying a skull and bones as a symbol of the ‘pirates’ of St. Pauli opposing the overflowed commercialization in modern football.

In 2014 Christopher got the degree of the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in the sphere of Sportsmanagement und Communication in German Sport University Cologne. Since 2017 he studied Company Law, Mergers & Acquisitions at FOM University of Applied Sciences.

His "sports" career started in DFB – German Football Association – as a member of Departement of Organisation and Eventmanagement at the Women´s National Cup Final. In 2014 Christopher moved to German Ice Hockey League, had a 4-year experience in Game Operations and now occupies the position of the Chief Operating Officer.

Christopher Gudacker will talk about how the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) became one of the top Ice Hockey products in Europe and how the league is improving quality standards on a high level. Furthermore, he will talk about the various effects, uprising challenges and chances due to the partnership with Telekom. The key aspects of the speech will be highlighted through business cases.
